Do NOT trust public trees on Ancestry.com

Public trees posted on ancestry.com are posted by people who do not necessarily check their facts. However, because it is posted on ancestry.com other people just assume that it is accurate without using logic let alone facts to verify the information. This perpetuates incorrect information and makes the compiler who uses such information look unprofessional at best, or a liar at worst. [...]
