Yesterday I commented that my leg muscles were very tired after doing physical therapy. Today they are much better. In fact, my back was feeling quite a bit better too. Then I did something really stupid. I had a large candle order to ship out for Joyous Candle. So, I shipped it. The problem was it was [...] I had another round of Physical Therapy today. Each day, the physical therapist has been introducing a new exercise for me to do. It is either a stretch for my back/leg muscles or an actual exercise to help strengthen my muscles. Today, she introduced an elastic band exercise – tying the band around my ankles and then [...] Merry Christmas to everyone! My sister-in-law and I have in the past had arguments dealing with Christmas. She is a very religious person (which there is nothing wrong with that) who holds the belief that Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus. I have absolutely no quarrels with that. However, she also happens to be [...] We all know that Credit Card companies charge various fees to use their cards. Consumers sometimes pay an “annual fee” for having a credit card using it. If the balance is not paid off each month, then consumers pay a fee on the unpaid balance usually at some incredible interest rate (15-30%). This is how [...] Well, I just got home from my doctor. He said the only way I am going to get better is by getting injections, so he is sending me back to the pain doctor. I really, really, really wanted to avoid this. The last time I was to the pain doctor it did not help and in [...] Well, I had my second physical therapy session yesterday for my back. The guy who was there on Friday and Monday wasn’t there today – but there was a female therapist instead. They have different personalities and frankly I think I like the guy better (he wasn’t so chatty). I hurt worse again immediately after therapy, but [...] Well, I did not go into work at all this week – my back is still bothering me a lot. I drove home on Wednesday and went to see the doctor yesterday. I’m officially off work until the end of the year. He gave me a prescription for a muscle relaxer and pain killer as well [...] I’ve had problems with my back off and on over the last 5 or 6 years. Late last week, my back started acting up again – giving me “minor” pain and some stiffness, but it was tolerable. Sunday on my drive back to Cincinnati, my back proceeded to get worse – paining me to the point that [...] As many of my regular readers know, I am big into researching my family history. I’ve had the opportunity to travel to Boston a couple of times to do research. One of the great things is that I was able to take my digital camera with me while doing the research. Now many people would imagine that [...] Daisy is my new friend. Daisy is also a cat – well, technically a kitten. The people that I am staying with during the weeks when I am in Cincinnati for work have had a dog for a couple of years, but just got Daisy.
