Today I fly out to Salt Lake City for my training conference on my new internet business. I could barely sleep last night because I’m so excited! If the planes are running on time for Delta, I should arrive in Salt Lake City at 4:30 pm local time. I’ll leave on Saturday. Classes are [...] It just figures, I am really excited about going to SLC tomorrow and today my big toe starts to hurt really bad. I looked at it and went “uh oh” – it looked like an ingrown toenail. So I called the podiatrist and he could get me in this afternoon. Goody – it’ll take [...] Today, I finally gave in and bought a blue 4GB iPod. Meijer had it with a free $25 iTunes gift card. I’ve been playing with it tonight – just loading songs from some CD’s that I own and a few that I have downloaded from the iTunes store. So far, I have 498 songs and [...] This is a picture that I took on my recent trip to the northern Michigan area. This is between Charlevoix and Petoskey – along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Little Traverse Bay was also along part of this stretch and was completely covered in snow/ice, but I couldn’t find a spot to take a good picture of [...] I recently watched a facinating episode of Nova – one on the “Clovis” people – or more precisely their origins. The Clovis people are named after the Clovis stone – aka arrowhead (that’s how I know the term). Archaeologists have discovered tools that could link the first “Americans” who were here over 20,000 years ago to [...] My current term for school expires on February 28 – just 8 short days from today! Gosh, where did the time go? It seems like I just started class yesterday. In the next 8 days, I have to get my RUA1 class done – there are 8 writing assignments for it (not including all [...] I took this picture last August when I found this lovely butterfly on my butterfly bush. He stood still long enough for me to snap this picture and then he was gone! I was hoping to get him with his wings open, but I guess he just wasn’t feeling in the mood.
This is what the drive up north looked like on Sunday. There was a bit of snowfall overnight in the mid-lower peninsula and this picture was taken before the snowplows got out on 127. I’ll be selling various items from websites that I design and promote. It’s going ok – I’m still in the research stage. I’ll be working on the websites in the next few weeks and getting at least 1 live hopefully within the next month, [...] Today I had my yearly with my gynecologist. You would think that a female gynecologist would be more gentle than a male, but not my doc! At the beginning, the nurse took my blood pressure and commented that it was a little high today.
